My custom work with ProductCart has included just about every web development discipline. I've done many presentation
layers, like the one you're seeing now, custom code additions/modifications to support specific business logic, and heavy
MS SQL Server 2005 work (stored procs, views, free-text search catalogs, SSIS, SSRS, Message Queing).
Here on this page are a few examples of these disciplines:
| PROJECT: www.mybodibar.com |
|
Project Summary:
The client had an established and successful business selling custom tanning lotions to salons around America.
They wanted to enter the retail segment of the industry and offer retail customers the ability to custom mix
tanning lotions at their website and then have it shipped to their homes.
This project was one of the most intense that I've done with ProductCart. The client had complicated mixing rules that
needed to be enforced throughout the mixing process. The entire product creation process for the site was custom and included
the following disciplines:
- Presentation Layer
- Custom ASP
- Custom Javascript
- Custom DHTML
- Stored Procedures (SQL Server 2005)
Since the product creation process was built from the ground up, integration into ProductCart's process flow deep.

and included the following disciplines:

- Standard Installation

| PROJECT: www.atlanticpotterysupply.com/productcart/pc/ |
|
Project Summary:
The client had an existing shopping cart but found it too difficult to use on a daily basis. When I became their new web guy I suggested
using ProductCart instead. There was no customization to ProductCart other than the presentation layer but
included the following disciplines:
- Data Conversion (mySQL to MS SQL 2005)
- Presentation Layer
- Standard Installation
- Integration With Existing Website
